With all of the blue-chip titles that are being released across all systems this year, I think 2011 will definitely be a year to remember. A release date has finally been set on the "fabled" Duke Nukem Forever game, which has been anxiously awaited for years, the Battlefield franchise is receiving a new installment that just may finally trump the Call of Duty series as most popular shooter, and players will be able to return to the mythical world of Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. These are just a few major gaming events taking place in 2011 (seeing as there are way too many to name off), and if everything goes as planned, this year could very well become one of gaming's best.
