hi,

I need to connect my 360 to a pc monitor. I know that there's a special cable for that purpose, which connects to a VGA output. I have a VGA output both on my monitor and on the back of the computer. Which one should I connect it to? and what about the audio? (the computer is pretty old, only has a single output for speakers, same as that which is used for headphones - no white/red or digital audio inputs)

thanks

hi,

I have a few questions about the 360:

1) Assuming I have the falcon version, will it still be necessary to buy an external cooling fan for the system?

2) When comparing HDTV play with standard tv play, aside from the obvious fact that the resolution is much higher sharper in HD, is it true that when connecting the console to an HDTV the frame-rate also gets better and the game runs smoother?

Thanks

Hi,

I intend to buy a new xbox 360 console through the Internet. My greatest concern is the technical issues the system suffers from, and therefore what's most important for me is that I receive the latest version which has the new processing chip and the extra heat sink (the "falcon"). In that sense, should I go for the "elite" or the 20 gb HDMI "premium"? which one is safer? I should note that I don't have the option of looking at the package itself since I'm ordering the system from abroad, through an online store. (otherwise I would just go for the premium and look at the package for the 175w sign or whatever it is that guarantees that it is a "falcon"...)

Thanks

Hi,

I have a question about the new falcon version of the 360:

When I go to an online store (gamestop for example), and I purchase the "xbox 360 PRO edition" with 20 gb and an HDMI port, does it necessarily mean that I will get the newest falcon version with the 65 nm and extra heat sink? How can I be sure about this?

Thanks

Hi,

I've recently heard that a new version of the 360, called "jasper", is supposed to fix most of the technical issues that the system has (such as the red rings). Does anyone have any idea when it will be available? and when it does, how would I know that I'm actually buying the "jasper" version and not an older version?

Thanks

Hi,

Is it possible to connect the PS3 to a standard tv using a simple av cable? or does it connect to HDTV's only?

hi,

I have a few general questions about the xbox 360 and the ps3:

1) How safe is it today to buy an xbox 360 without having to deal with mechanical failures such as the famous ring of death (is it reasonable to assume that microsoft had improved the quality of the new systems since the 360's launch, and that they are better today than those that were sold at the beginning?)

2) Is wireless connection to the internet available on the ps3 by default, or is it necessary to buy an additional accesory sold seperately? and what's the case with the 360?

3) Does the ps3 play blueray films by default, or is it necessary to buy an additional accesory sold seperately, as with the 360?

Thank you very much!

Hi,

I have a question about the ipod nano's battery life: If I play a certain mp3 track with a 224 kbpsbirate, for example, will that cosume a significantly higher amount of battery power than when playing the same track, mp3 encoded but with 128 kbps birate only?

Thanks

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could answer a question I have regarding the new iPod nano 8GB's battery: Apple states that this iPod's battery life stands for up to 24 of music usage. My question is if this also takes in to account the backlight usage, or does it assume that the backlight setting is set to "off"?

Thanks
