I really am grateful for gamefly sometimes. The other day, Paper Mario: The tousand year door came in and that is one hell of a little game. I love the $tyle of the game, the writing is funny, and the battles work really well. It's a fantastic game for the late gamecube and if you haven't already picked up this game and are a few years late like I was, The game costs about $10. Now I want the wii version, and the N64/VC version as well.
In other news, I am very quickly losing my patience with Guitar Hero. It's very frustrating that i'm so close to beating the game, but I just cannot survive past the moshes is Raining blood for the life of me. I also tried to play Guitar Hero 2 the other day, and it really shows how much of an improvement Guitar Hero 3 is. It is almost impossible for me to play difficult songs without those helpful bright notes that i've become so used to, and the graphics themselves look like garbage in comparison. I'm almost done with my review of Guitar Hero 3, and may put it up either today or sometime this week.
I also started playing Halo 3 again, this time trying to go through the campaign by myself on heroic, and with my friend on co-op in legendary. I couldn't even survive the first chapter in legendary by myself, but the addition of another human player makes the game much easier. Heroic is okay, it feels like the best difficulty up until the end when the flood come.
Finals are coming up in 2 weeks, and I won't be on much next week, but after that my activity will be nonexistant. So i'm sorry in advance if i'm late on reading/commenting on everyone's blog but there is so much time in the winter break that i'm going to catch up.
Later,
~James
