You should have your head examined if you don't think the PS3 makes Activision any money. COD4 is, unless I am mistaken, the best selling PS3 game out there and you can bet the sequel will sell loads on PS3 as well. And IIRC, games like Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero have sold roughly the same as the 360 version. Activision is just desperate for Sony to drop the price and thinks this "threat" will scare them.
What an empty threat. This will obviously never happen. Activision knows the PS3 makes them money, but they'll say anything to force Sony to drop the price of the PS3.
That's not an opinion thats a fact. All console FPS are now into the ranking and reward system. The game has outsold HALO the previous console FPS leader. The developer stated as fact the bigger,louder part and from what was shown I believe it.

"I cannot understand why you would deny yourself so much fun" sounds a hell of a lot like you stating an opinion as fact. Look, not all FPS gamers enjoy the same games as you and the millions that will buy this, why is that so hard to understand? Why did you even bring up sales?
COD:MW was amazing and changed console FPS. The sequel will be bigger, louder, meaner and just as fun. I also said any console FPS fan that did not buy it, I was specific. I cannot understand why you would deny yourself so much fun?
The failure of this thread will be legendary. I would lose respect for any fan of console FPS that does not buy it.

O rly? Ever heard of this crazy thing called an opinion? I enjoy FPS games quite a bit, but, like others, I feel that MW2 won't be that different from the first. Why are you preaching your opinion as fact? People have different tastes than you and the millions that will buy MW2. Deal with it.
