Lilith was my main because I prefer speedy characters, rowland is a good team player and good for solo i guess, brick is fun as well as getting the explosive bonuses, and mordacai is the best character of all for pure killing power especially if you love revolvers or snipers, bird is kinda fun to use but his other trees beat it.
after playing the last deus ex game this isn't going to be a day one purchase for me, also I'm not too sure why the viewpoint switches when you hide behind things, also things you can interact with have yellow boarders which is a bit ugly and suggests to me that i must be pretty stoopid if i need everything highlighted. Loved the first game but have my doubts about this one.
bad for consumers and retailers, you cant buy online games as cheaply anymore and it will impact 2nd hand sales which may end up closing certain retailers that depend on 2nd hand for the majority of income. It also makes renting impossible.
my ps3 fat bricked with uncharted 2 and mgs4 was playing those two games at the time, and also 2 other friends ps3s broke with uncharted 2 beta, got a new fat and had no problems with either game so could be hardware just as easily although uncharted 2 was probs working the machine harder than other games.
feels like a game of side quests and for me the combat was a little dull, also annoyed me that the character says something different to what you choose which at times seems nothing like what you'd expect. Good for a single playtrough but wasn't good enough to warrant a second from me, the main plot seemed very weak to me.
ff13 was awful bad plot and combat that required little to no thought, it did look pretty tho. Dragon age 2 had an ok story poor combat and overused the same maps and dungeons, voice acting was amazing shame they didn't put the same time into other aspects. The reason people think this is because games that came before them were better, Dragon age had a fan base and dragon age 2 seemed rushed with watered down combat, everyone expected a more polished game. Also for you same **** different story comment FF has so many games that fit that exact mould... also look at the elder scrolls games, just because the gameplay is similar doesn't mean you can't have a good game. Call of dutiysm? you mean a successful series? Different approaches that work in my opinion = demon souls, borderlands, resonance of fate, Valkyrie chronicles, dragon age, mass effect 2, fallout 3. I enjoyed these games from start to finish, da2 and ff13 felt like a chore.
I'd rather hawke didn't appear in da3, and it would probably work better with a whole new cast and not throwing in loads of cameos from the first two games. The story will probably be the mage Templar thing it would be great if you could choose a side at the beginning which would affect you throughout the game start of with the templars or with the tivinter mages, but still allowing you to make decisions in game to decide which side your on at the end.
