Jan 01.2005....2005!!??

Jesus, what a packed few weeks. San Andreas-got it the day it came out-at 4 o'clock-EARLY. Played the HECK out of it, almost an average of 6 hours a day for 2 weeks straight. Then Halo 2 came and changed everything I thought a fps could be. My only complaint is alack of finale- which will be succumbed in the inevitable sequel. Have played hundreds of multiplayer matches with my nephews- which they mostly kept me on my toes-but I prevailed overall. Will reflect on the greatness of this game in the future.

10.10.04 Close to greatness, yet far from reality.

Been playing thug2 (great game) for my 'box. Best in the series after 4. Hands down! Really sad because all I really want to play (on my x'ey) is Halo2. EVERY FPS I play to kill time looks retarded-compared to what little Iv'e seen of this game in action. Also am anticipating Gta: San Andreas (along with everyone else-yes I know-UNFORTUNATELY I'm not special, by any means). God, it looks as if Rockstar will hit the defining moment of this generation: developing THE FIRST (to be relaesed) must-own title of the year. There are soooo many reasons to love this series, this iteration will only expand on some of the most copied/soughtafter ideas in videogame HISTORY. It will be great, and I will IGNORE every trick-or-treater that comes to my house. I can picture it now: me chillin with my controller in one hand- some "inspiration" in the other (*adult beverages), and tripping out on jolly ranchers and junior mints. But I will have fun with it-only until Halo2 comes out-and then.....................well, let's say my ps2 may feel "abandoned until further notice".

Screw everything/everyone/everywhere....doh-I uh, mean........When november 8th comes (THE DAY I WILL HAVE HALO 2 IN MY POSSESION) I will seriously be at what could be the first pivotal apex of my life. I will seriously cry alot when I play this game. Bungie has, and never will let down its fans. Iv'e met the team before, I know firsthand. Back when they were developing for a real machine (Macs-yeah, I said it-PCS SUCK!)- I had the excellent opportunity to meet them after they released Marathon 2. The only thing I remember clearly (we all were sucking down wine-coolers at the mac expo) was that they make games for the people who play games, watch games, listen to games, and master games. They care about EVERY facet of the the gaming experience. NO LIE: I purchased a 350 watt dolby dig. 5.1 system BECAUSE Halo was the FIRST console game that was designed from the ground-up to be the best sounding game experience you have ever had. It still is. Soooo much to rant about..back to my point: Bungie is full of people like me. People who want to be immersed, and live the experience. Halo2 il make me purchase xbox live, I know it. Dammit! Broadband is sooooooooooo expensive here..........hmmm....oh well....30 more days and I'll be on the phone with my "local broadband dealer..." dammit!
