I think she felt like she couldn't fulfill her duty as Avatar anymore and was thinking of just letting the next Avatar take over. Once she died a new Avatar would be born and could bend all 4 elements.[spoiler] I find it rather stupid that Korra was thinking of suicide over losing bending, anyone remember Sokka or Ty Lee or Mai or Suki?! They were all awesome and didn't bend. Plus she could airbend, which puts her in a small group with Tenzin's family and Bumi. Hell Bolin even brought up that she could airbend to cheer her up and Tenzin was all like "NO THIS ISN'T THE TIME!" This whole season just seemed to say "If you can't bend you suck horribly" when that was anything but the case in TLA. Hell it's no wonder a guy like Amon got so much support with the whole "Non-benders suck" idea.
Furthermore what's to stop another Amon from coming and attacking benders again? The only reason Amon lost support was because he turned out to be a bender. Just get a proven non-bender to lead the equalist revolution problem solved. Plus Korra didn't really do anything to defeat Amon besides somehow break out of bloodbending with airbending (How does getting your bending removed allow you to access airbending anyway?) Finally what did Bolin do to contribute to the show besides being an earthbender, how does bloodbending constantly with no emotion all of a sudden result in Amon thinking no one should be able to bend and why did Tarlok all of a sudden repent his ways and how did he decide to become a non-bender hater in the first place if he loved life so much?!
