So, miss Scarlet is throwing her hat into the singing arena. Has anyone heard the first track from her album yet? It's called "Falling Down", a cover performed by Tom Waits. I really disliked it at first. It's... unusual. But it's really grown on me.

What do you think? You can check it out on places like youtube.

I'll admit that I don't use my PS3 for gaming as much as I could, but the blu-ray player is worth the price in itself.

I think Far Cry 2 is in with a good chance. Was really looking forward to ET: Quake Wars, but the reception from PC gamers hasn't been very positive :(

i got the game, and while i agree the game is great. I do not believe it deserves a 10. IF they had made the graphics a little nicer it would be closer. but the driving controls are still so so (ever notice how bad your car spins around when u press the hand-brake button). Talldude80

I guess it depends on what your defition of 10/10 is. Is it a perfect game? I don't think any game ever could be. But GTA IV certainly comes very close. From what you say about the driving controls, I think they're fairly appropriate. If you go too fast, you spin. Slow down, you don't. It also depends on what vehicle you're in. After all, GTA IV isn't Burnout. Most of these vehicles aren't racing cars.

As for the graphics, I think they're probably pushed the 360 as far as they could manage, hence occasionally watching it struggle. I think it looks very nice. You need to remember the massive scale of the whole thing, running at once. It's very impressive.

And the glitches, well... They haven't affected my personal enjoyment for the game. All the gliltches I've seen have been minor.

I think the difficulty is almost EASIER than a lot of RPGs I've played. There's certainly a lot less need for grinding. However, I think the reason why people sometimes have trouble is that occasionally you just hop from one big battle to the next. So if you haven't charged your characters up before hand, you're screwed.

The very first time I tried to go online it wouldn't let me connect. But I figured as it was launch day, it is to be expected. Not had any troubles since though. Find the modes very enjoyable!

Have you tried calling Xbox customer support? They're usually quite helpful.

Thirded! It would be a real shame to rush through it. Plus it's not like GTA 5 or the downloadable content will be heading our way any time soon. We've got a good few months to spare :)

I saw a presentation of this, just before it was to be released on PC. Have to say, it looked amazing. It's great that it's finally coming out for console (I believe it was always planned), but I'm not sure how the controls will work. Mind you, if its been in the making for this long, they've hopefully had enough time to sort that out perfectly.

So do people who legitimately own the game (meaning, a retailer broke the street date) get to play online without penalisation from Microsoft? I guess we'll see from those 500+ people...
