It's way too crowded now. Maybe if they added a tagging system and you can choose to display only threads for PC Hardware, Audio/Video, or PC/Mac Games. Or just go back to separate forums like before.

I don't know how to fix the problem, but a workaround might be to play in windowed. That way if it freezes, you can at least get into Task Manager and end the task. The only freezes I have had with SWTOR are during loading screens, but this was fixed in one of the patches. Even when it did freeze, it just closed the game not my whole computer.

Most people don't consider it a MMO but DOTA 2 is doing very well. Really, MOBAs in general are making the big bucks these days.

The only use I can see is for someone who goes to a lot of LAN parties, doesn't like carrying their rig around to every event, and also has a lot of disposable income. It's just like that Fragbox that made headlines a decade(?) ago. Hopefully that niche is profitable enough. If that's their only product, they probably won't last long.

If you find a "never ending" game, it's probably going to be as addicting as WoW. The problem is not really the game. It's that you find it hard to moderate your game time. I don't think another game will fix that. That's something you have to deal with, to conquer. I went through a time like that to where I was addicted to WoW. Player other games didn't help. I still spent just as much time playing games. I just had to get my priorities straight. Focus on school and work first, everything else second.

It's not an official Nintendo game. Other people have done that before and it got shut down. I won't put time into a game that's could disappear any moment. Also, it's just a GameBoy/DS games ported to PC. A true Pokemon MMO would have a 3D world.

It's a pretty fun game so far except the Win X Games as Y Class quests. Way too annoying to get. Also, since they are going to reset this beta phase, I don't want to put too much time in collecting cards that will all go away later. I got a lucky invite from the opt-in. So far I have only gotten into Starcraft 2 and Hearthstone through the opt-in.

I wonder why they never went F2P? I mean SWTOR is a newer game and went F2P. Mythic is part of EA like Bioware, so they would have an example and experienced colleagues to guide them. Hope all those who still liked it will find a good, new MMO home for themselves. They probably still had 100,000 subscribers or so.

I am excited to see how they improve drops to compensate for this. It took players over a thousand hours to gear a character for MP10 with the auction house. Without the auction house it would take an entire lifetime to gear up. I hope they make it so you can get upgrades in a timely fashion. They don't have to be huge, massive upgrades, just an item with 1% more damage or survivability so that over time you are guaranteed to eventually get good enough gear for MP10.
