CNet nor Eidos will be receiving my money from here on out. I just hope to know where Jeff goes as soon as he gets a new job because I'll be following him.

Ryan is a good friend of Jeff's too. I wonder what's going to happen at Gamespot. One thing is for sure: It will never, ever be the website it used to be.

I know that this has been discussed a great deal probably but I would like to, for whoever reads this, voice my utter disgust at the firing of Jeff Gerstmann. He gave his review on the game and got fired for it? I'll be canceling my Gamespot account immediately.

Well done CNet. You fired one of the best guys you had.

My thought process when I asked myself the same question you are asking is that the existing 60GB version has the emotion engine inside of it meaning that you're going to be able to play all ps2 games and ps1 games without using emulation software.  I don't know, but I really don't care for emulation that much.  The fact that the 60GB basically has a ps2 and ps1 living inside really made the decision for me.  With the 80GB using emulation you may run into some trouble with compatibility and what have you.  Good luck in making your choice, but know that the PS3 is one heck of an amazing machine.

I don't ever see anyone recommend Formula 1 Championship Edition. I know that when I pick up a PS3 that will be the first game I buy but maybe that is just because I am diehard for F1. Is there something wrong with Championship Edition that I am overlooking? It seems that Motorstorm doesn't have any split screen play available. Is my information wrong? Cheers.
