That's not true, the battery doesn't keep accepting a charge once it's completed it's charge.
Many devices that run on batteries can be plugged in and run well with no damage whatsoever to the battery (a laptop for instance)
that laptop reference is a lie.... you can overcharge your laptop and dwindle down its battery life. it has happened to alot of people.
