I would like to see a Space Based MMO done right. With spaceflight PVE & PvP dogfighting and planet landscapes and space station land scapes with possible avatar PVP & PVE mixed in. Conquerable persistent dynamic galaxy or even one star system to make it more compact and lively. Where almost everything is player made. Even space based ship VS ship boarding actions of capital ships would be interesting. Planetary invasions etc. Players move up in rank, gain medals, and crew ships with other players or hired NPC's.

That would be my dream MMO.

To me it all depends on the types of games you want to play. I think the PC (for now) does some games better than consoles and consoles do some games better than PC e.g.(sports games come to mind). I think in about 7 years or so it'll be interesting indeed to see how console gaming stacks up to PC gaming.

The first company to port an MMO to consoles will make a killing and subsequently possibly bring about the beginning of the end to PC gaming. Slap a keyboard and mouse to a PS3 and whats the diference? Already Intel and AMD are talking about making cores for specific functions. I could see in about 5-7 years or so there being cores designed just for gaming that will probably be used in the next generation of consoles as well.

I am still holding out hope however that there will be a Starcraft MMO. I'd like to see another space based game that has a mix of planetside and space ship combat that is done right like WoW was.
