There are a lot of game series out there such as Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Grand Theft Auto, Need for Speed, & Assassins Creed just to name a few. My favorite would have to be Tomb Raider. What are some of your favorite game series?

There are a lot of video game series out there. The most noticed and longest series would probably be the Call of Duty series. Released October 29, 2003 for the PC the first Call of Duty being a huge hit they made an expansion pack for the game on September 14, 2004 which was called Call of Duty: United Offensive. On November 16, 2004 Call of Duty made its way onto the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube with Call of Duty: Finest Hour. The following year Activision made the sequel to Call of Duty for the PC with Call of Duty 2 which was released on October 25, 2005 it was also released on the Xbox 360 November 15, 2005. In the same month Activision made the console sequel to Call of Duty: Finest Hour with Call of Duty 2: Big Red One released November 1, 2005 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube. Next they made Call of Duty 3 released on November 7, 2006 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Xbox later on November 14, 2006 it was released on PlayStation 3 and Wii. Call of Duty 3 was the only major Call of Duty game never released on PC. When The PlayStation Portable was released Activision made a Call of Duty game just for that called Call of Duty: Roads to Victory released March 14, 2007. Next Activision made Call of Duty go away from the World War II times and go into today's time with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare released November 5, 2007 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, DS, and PC later on November 10, 2009 a Wii edition of the game titled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition. Moving onto the next installment of the Call of Duty series is Call of Duty: World at War with two different versions of this game being released Activision went back to the World War II times for this fifth installment which was released on November 11, 2008 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, and PC on the same date a PlayStation 2 version of the game titled Call of Duty: World at War (Final Fronts), then Call of Duty: World at War (Zombies) was released on November 16, 2009 for the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Going once again back to today's times Activision released the sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 released November 10, 2009 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on the same date a version for the DS was released being titled Call of Duty Modern Warfare (Mobilized). Now with a new turn Call of Duty: Black Ops is going to be the first Call of Duty game to take place during the cold war, scheduled to be released on November 9, 2010 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and PC with a separate version for the DS.
