FF X starts of slow as hell but that's like almost every other Final Fantasy game (which I hope you would over look that flaw). You really can't compare the battle systems. They're just.....too different. For me FFX was easier for me to get used to but I had a lot of fun with the Shadow Hearts battle system. Both storylines are well made although Shadow hearts is so much darker. If you really look past all the fluff in FFX you can see it's just a regular love story. Out of the two games Shadow Hearts has one of the best conclusions and endings ever. Both the bad ending and good ending are well made in my opinion.(I liked the good ending but a lot of fans hate it.) The FFX ending was beautiful if you cared for the storyline but it was just too....straightforward and blah. I went over to my friend's house while he just finished Shadow Hearts 2 and I was like damn this is a good ending I should pick this up sometime soon. If he was playing the ending of FFX I would probably pick up FFX just because it has FINAL FANTASY on the title. Both games are good but if you like traditional RPGs go FFX, if you like something new Shadow Hearts 2 wouldn't fail you.
Devil May Cry 3- you need some skill as it's a pretty hard game if you don't know what you're doing. God of War- you can pretty much button mash your way through the game without actually learning the moves. Personally I'll go DMC 3 it's longer and I just like the gameplay and characters more.
Sephiroth would probably win due to his speed and that killer blade of his. Kratos might have a shot if Sephiroth gets cocky but if Sephiroth doesnt kill him Kratos would probably die of a aneurism cause he always seems so pissed.
