[QUOTE="Jazza104"]So you actually read all that?By modifying your firmware you have voided the T&C that you agreed to. Microsoft hasn't ripped you off, you broke their 'laws' and now have to face the punishment.
Mr-Elijo
It doesn't matter if I've read the T&C's or not. Common sense dictates that if you modify a console so you can play 'free' (re. pirated) games on it, it's going to be a breach of their T&C.

Ah ok, so it's mainly targetting those who used modified drivers, ie. their own SATA?
Should be all good then.
Thanks.

With microsofts recent announcement of no longer being able to use 'unauthorised storage devices', would I run into any issues purchasing a 120GB drive from Ebay? ie. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Hard-Drive-Disk-120-GB-120GB-HDD-For-Microsoft-Xbox-360_W0QQitemZ170394436202QQcategoryZ130864QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m263QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DSI%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D10%26ps%3D63
I'm not sure if the HK sellers use 3rd party or 1st party (lot cheaper).
Please let me know if you think I should be fine with buying that drive.
What a complete load of utter tripe. Believe it or not, game companies need to make money. Therefore they'll target the largest audience. Besides, getting the masses is never a bad thing. If you want some kind of 'reward' for your gaming, go play WoW where you grind 24x7.
Also, a GAMER who calls another GAMER a 'n00b' (or any other variant, including the use of '1337 speak) is automatically a **** What kind of a line is 'Your uncoordinated ball of ghey Plllleeeeeaaasseeee, this guy sounds like an angry 16 year old. The speakers just comes across as pretentious self-obsessed idiot.
If you have an AV cable, see here:
http://www.chadledford.com/?p=50
Basicially you crack open/off the grey case of the AV cable so the HDMI + AV cable fit into the back of the 360.
I've got the 360 setup via HDMI to my Dell 2709, and receiving Optical sound through the 'AV hack' (See: http://www.chadledford.com/?p=50)
However, if I set my screen to HDMI (ie. the Xbox) and then turn the 360 on, it will simply sit in an endless cycle of re-booting displaying no video signal. However, if I switch it to DVI (with the computer on), allow the 360 to boot up and then switch over to HDMI, it works fine.
Any ideas on how to bypass this never ending cycle? It makes it a bit of a pain if the computer isn't already on and I want to play the 360.
Seems I am not alone then! Hurrah! What really drives me up the wall is how the saving/checkpoints work. I'll start a mission on veteran, it will take me ~2hrs to get halfway through that mission. I then go out to grab some dinner, fire up the 360 after eating and I'm back at the start of the level!!! ARGH!
