Hooray!
I think I'll keep gaming related things in this blog. It's hard enough dealing with so many user accounts on the internet, so I'll leave out simply copying sections from my main blog onto here and boring you with the same information. (in fact, I'm boring you just talking about this subject, moving on..)
I discovered something quite amazing today, although it's something I should have realised many years ago. My heart doesn't rest with my Nintendo, or my still ongoing N64. Not even the trusty Commodore, our first ever computer. In fact, it's the PC I remember spending most of my days on. I have vivid memories of watching my dad on Doom, Half Life, Quake, Hexen and Blood (no wonder I'm so demented today, all that violence when I was only 5 years old). Even the classic adventure games, Beneath a Steel Sky and Discworld, the very original, which we still to this day can never complete.
Of course I wasn't able to play those games; they were all too mature. (although I could watch them, so I was still absorbing all the maturity into my mind). However, for some reason I could still play Road Rash. Ahh..that game is a pure classic, truly underrated. Possibly the most fun I've had with a game, ever. Lemmings, Elite 2, Civilisation (both the original and Civilisation II), X-Com, C&C including Red Alert - that's where my memories lie.
Jazz Jackrabbit! Ah that game is brilliance, what a brilliant platformer.
Well, if you're a fan also of any of those retro games, feel free to be my friend. I'm always on msn, really.
I promise my next post will be a huge lot more interesting than this one!!!
