Since it's Video Game History Month, I thought it was appropriate to write a blog about my gaming history throughout the many years. I started off playing on my uncles' SNES, mainly interested in fighting games, and anything that had to do with a superhero. I loved SpiderMan back in the day, so I had to play every SpiderMan game out there. I also played some old baseball games on the SNES. Ever since Tee-Ball, I just wanted to play a baseball game. Next console was the PS1. I had lot's of fun with this console, I use to get game demo's in the mail all the time with new games on it. I didn't know what a demo was back then, so I thought it was the whole game and never thought anything of the word "demo". I would find myself playing these demos over and over again, having no clue that I was doing the same thing, well, over and over again. I still remember playing all of the Crash Bandicoots, and sometimes my dad would let me play some of the more hardcore games such as Twisted Metal.
Now we move onto the Nintendo 64, this was certainly one of my favorite consoles of all time, I still remember playing countless hours of Super Mario 64, Zelda, and many others. I also remember playing GoldenEye 007, me and my cousin locked in so many hours via splitscreen multiplayer, we would just get four people, and start gaming. The Nintendo 64 was one of the most memorable consoles I have ever played. Next I moved onto the PlayStation 2. With the PS2 being one of the top things to get back in the day, I wanted one really bad. I still remember the first game I got was Daxter, great game, and that game will always spark memories of the PS2. Now, I play anything, I have owned all of the "next gen" consoles, and played the best those consoles have to offer. I love each console with a different love, kind of like a Parent with three kids.
