So I recently purchased a used PS3 "fat" system that was backwards compatible. I've had it for about four days now and it just YLOD on me. So I try the fan technique where you go over the back fans with a hair dryer for 15 minutes or so, and it actually worked. A day after while playing Mortal Kombat, it YLOD again so enough was enough and I had to return it to the shop where I purchased it at and they luckily replaced it with another used one.

I know what RockStar is doing, which is very smart on their end. They are releasing GTA5 in September, knowing that loyal fans will purchase it because they can't wait for the next-gen consoles to arrive. Once the next-gen consoles are in, the fans will purchase it again on that respective console! So smart, so slimy, so RockStar.

So I recently repurhchased Call of Duty 4, for nostalgic purposes, and I heard things about the servers being utter trash now due to hackers and such. I put the game in and started an online match and I still haven't came across a hacker. My best guess is that people just stopped caring enough to hack and have moved onto other COD's. Which is great for this community because people are still playing this game! I don't have a problem finding a match, even though it's nothing like it use to be a few years ago, I still get some nostalgic pleasure. Purchase it again, I highly suggest you do!

I am really excited for this upcoming console. I recently sold my Xbox 360 because I found myself only using it for Netflix and I had no desire anymore to pay for XBL. So I purchased a PlayStation 3 again and I am loving it, like expected. I took many things into consideration for this purchase, one being that GTA 5 is almost upon us and I've been waiting years for the next installment, frankly, I think we all have. Second, I loved the PlayStation exclusives because of their story driven aspects and surprisingly entertaining online multiplayer. Now that MGS servers are shut down (sadly) I cling on to games like BF3 and CODBO2, which isn't a terrible thing considering the online is free. I essentially purchased this console again so I may reminisce my teenage years before I gear up for this next installment.
