between these two i would have to say that ten is much better. a better story line and prolly one of the best battle systems they have ever done. being able to switch people in and out to use certains strengths in a battle, was the best. blitzball happened to be one of the best side games i have ever played i mean i would have bought it if they had just made it a regular game.
i highly doubt that it will be released this year. it has very little publicity and dont you think that something as big of this would be know for a while. i mean look at some of the games they tell you about a year in advanced. i doubt its coming out this winter. I forsee sevarl problems with it. That would definately push the launch of it
The biggest thing I would suggest is to rush through it and beat it as fast as possible. Why do I say this. Because nine times out of ten you really dont care about doing little side quests when playing a game for the first time. There is so much to this game it is crazy. Play the game again. Spend some time actually leveling up all your materia playing the side games, running through side stories getting the gold chocobo which takes forever and a day. Defeating all the weapons. Getting all the secret Materia. These are all very time consuming things to do and chances are you just want to play the story line the first time. I say play the story line the first time then go back and complete all of the other side quests. It is better to do the side quests after you know the whole story line. Its like putting the final pieces to the puzzle.
Microsoft has no right to be anywhere near a Final Fantasy title its Sonys own fault for not making sure that it stayed that way. When people speak of Final Fantasy the first thing they think of is a Sony only game. The only thing Microsoft could do to the Final Fantasy serious is break down the franchise. I own all three systems and Xbox is not meant for well thought out expanded RPG's. Give them the quick action games and shooters. Final Fantasy is turning itself into a more mature game needing more a mature audience. I consider Xbox's cartoony graphics a teenage version of Nintendo and I believe that is all they will ever accomplish.
