if you don't know what world of goo is, then here's a brief synopsis: it's a brilliant puzzle game that utilizes physics and stuff. yeah, not a good synopsis, but you should get it anyway. cuz it's brilliant. and it's a puzzle game. and it has physics and stuff. anyway, you can get it at 2dboy.com or steam. it's only $20. well worth your money. buy it. now.

hi, i'm going to build a new rig. yay!!! i won't be able to assemble it until october 18, but i want to start looking for good deals now. after listening to the wise and majestic JP_Russell, i decided to go with an e8500, x48, and 4850 build, so here are the parts i'm looking to get:

anyway, what do you guys think? i think all of it together, it's about $1750, which is kind of a lot (but not when considering that i bought some of the parts a couple of months ago), but i think well worth it.

mostly, i'm looking to play games at high resolutions while recording videos (to do more video reviews), and my current rig's not cutting it (huge framerate drops when fraps-ing, making the video choppy and the game unplayable). if anyone has suggestions, please make them. i'm very ignorant about these things.

oh, and i'm getting an iphone too! i really hate being a tool like that, but i need a new phone (ok, not really, but my service obligation is up soon, and i can get a new phone, so why not get one???), and i like the iphone's internet browser. and it's so pretty~!!!

of all the profile pictures and banners that i've created in my life (and i created quite a few in all my years on the internet), i must say this has got to be one of my favorites. i'm no master photoshopper, and most of the stuff i do is simple cropping/writing text on a picture, but i do believe i have an artistic eye (somewhat; i was an architect major for a year before dropping out due to laziness, and i can draw stuff semi-photorealistically (at least, i could in high school and college; haven't drawn anything in years)), and i try to frame all the pictures as best i can. i especially like how my profile name is smack in the middle of mia kirshner's leg. yum...

for those that don't know, mia kirshner is the actress who played the hot lesbian assassin in 24 (and also appears as a lesbian in the l word). i mean, a hot lesbian assassin is like what i would want to be if i could reinvent myself, so i think i'm gonna keep this for the rest of my gamespotting life. what do you guys think of my profile picture and banner?
