I thought the Demo was excellent, great graphics and pretty cool gameplay. I also like that you have the choice to play the game on the gamepad as well.
I totally disagree, being able to draw routes on the gamepad (Madden 13) was a great feature. I know Madden 25 is not coming to Wii U but that is another topic. on pikmin 3 you can move the map around on the gamepad for strategy purposes. I'm being told that Splinter Cell makes great use of the gamepad (currently downloading game now). Lastly being able to play many of these games separate on the gamepad is a very innovative idea. Unfortunately developers are not being creative enough and Nintendo fails to capitalize on this innovation.
I really wish Nintendo would promote their gamepad and all the versatility that it provides. Being able to play games and use the gamepad screen to do various things is a huge plus in my book! also, being able to play games totally with the gamepad is also a great innovative idea, but so many casual gamers don't even know about these features... I just don't get it, that is a big difference from the current and next gen consoles..
I think it sucks for our military men and women. If you don't have a connection you cannot play after 24hrs! what the hell is that. Many of our folks are deployed to crappy locations where there is no internet, especially broadband. So I guess these folks who are hard core gamers are left out. Well they will just buy a PS4 I guess
