There are so many games that I HAVE to beat before the end of the month, when I upgrade my PC for Vista and DirectX 10. My Vista format will be pristine, with only the best games I have installed. No frustrating R6:V. No horrifying D3. No bloody endless TES4. Only the games I love! Bye now, I'll be off to beat the last mission in GTA:SA before the day is up.
Oh ****.
The day ended four minutes ago.

Ubisoft FTL

Red Steel will be the LAST Ubisoft product I buy. Oh and Assassin's Creed.
You see, Dark Messiah is SO buggy, SO unplayable, that it makes me cry. And when Joe cries, he gets angry. And when Joe gets angry, lots of people are gonna lose their money. I should have pirated Dark Messiah. But no, it's not even worth being pirated.
I take back everything I've said about Jeff Gerstman. Jeff, you're awesome. Dark Messiah deserved that 6.7. It's a piece of ****

Dark Messiah and F.E.A.R.: Extraction Point
by JoeSlayer01 on Comments
Got Dark Messiah. Don't feel like playing it cause it's a poorly made bug ridden game that I can't run at highest detail even though I could run the demo. Other people can't either. I bet it didn't go through beta.
Wasn't able to get Extraction Point...so I "got it anyway," if you know what I mean. Saddened me, cause I want to support those special developers who make games for PC only. A dying breed.
Extraction Point was good, but confusing and a tad lame on the storyline-side.
SPOILERS
It was like a bad slasher flick. Everyone died. I wish atleast Jin would have lived. Jeez.
/SPOILERS
I kinda wish Extraction Point wasn't part of the F.E.A.R. canon, and was nothing but a mod with more shooting.
19 days til the Wii. HELLS yea! I preordered!

Points!

I 've been wanting to get an Xbox 360 lately for two reasons: Dead Rising, and gamer points.
Gamer points are such a cool idea, for showing off and you know feeling like you actually did something, and having all of it on your profile. WHY CAN'T THERE BE A PC NETWORK WITH GAMER POINTS LIKE THE 360?! That would be so cool!
Only two games coming out this month... El Matador and Just Cause. Just Cause is really fun, but totally crap handling. El Matador is fun too, because you can choose a play-style. If you like playing tactical, you can do that. Or if you want to dive around like Chow Yun-Fat blasting away at fools you can do that too (although it's slightly harder).
Allowing you to do your own play-style is something that I want to do for COL. For example, there will be statistics you can build in it, like Strength, Speed, and Endurance, etc. Strength will lower recoil, speed will make you faster, and endurance will let you do fast things for longer.
There will also be three "classes". Light, Medium, and Heavy. Light will be the sort of play-style that dives around like John Woo doing stunts and shooting all the time using light weapons, will probably need lots of strength to lower recoil so they can focus on dodging bullets, and need lots of endurance to keep diving. Medium will be tactical and focus on medium weapons, and will use lots of speed to survive. Heavy will be uh... the style that resembles Arnold Swarcheneggar with a rocket launcher/chaingun, and will of course need strength to lower the recoil to be bearable.

And no one can offer any advice on how to make it better again. How am I supposed to run Crysis when it's functioning like a pile of crap.

I had the game several weeks before Nori did, YET HE BEAT IT BEFORE I DID? Omg I am so lame. That last boss was a giant a$$. But I finally OWNED HIM! I MADE HIM MY B----!
Hmmm... I also played SiN Episodes again, without cheat codes, cause they fixed the difficulty system glitches. It's a great game when there's no frustration! It's a lot prettier than Valve's Source games. I'm re-thinking my decision to not buy any later episodes because I liked it my second time through.
I'm going to start playing Far Cry without cheat codes. I've already done the first two levels, and my god it was hell. The game is seriously the most difficult "fun" I've ever had on the easy mode. The game is just too hard. But I'm gonna beat it. I'm also getting back into Oblivion again, I'm going to try to beat that too.
The next few days are going to be awesome. On the 9th, Flat-Out 2 comes out, and that is a must-buy. On the 11th, the much-anticipated Prey comes out, and the demo for that was fantastic, making that another must-buy. And I'm thinking about getting Command & Conquer: Generals and the Zero Hour expansion. And Painkiller looks very intriguing to my sort of play style.
Multiplayer wise, I'm getting back into the Half-Life mod The Specialists, which is very addicting. I think that's about it. I don't think I'm going to be reviewing Tomb Raider: Legend and SiN Episodes: Emergence because I'm just plain lazy. I'll review FO2 and Prey though! ;)
