@OldSchoolPlaya: That’s not exactly true. No, the PS5 doesn’t have native 1440p support, but it doesn’t make any difference when games use dynamic resolutions and scaling. Nearly all PS5 games (and a bunch of PS4 games) have a setting that runs at 1440p(or higher)@60fps.
@cydie: Sure, it’s free because you already paid for it when you bought Overwatch 1 and it’s free for newcomers. Only difference is that now you have to buy battle passes and pay for skins directly instead of being able to earn them.
This is what I love to hear from developers. Tell it exactly how it is and spare nobody. Publishers need to put an end to crunching and above all, listen to your f*cking developers when they say they need more time and/or resources. They know best, for themselves and for the consumers. And not only to alter their work at the last second, but to render it an inferior product as a result… Absolutely disgusting and shameful. I feel terrible for these developers. The backlash is entirely on Sega, but publishers never learn. They only see the $$ signs.
I applaud this man for speaking out. More developers need to follow suite. No more money making games if the developers are all on strike.
@epic_poke8: Exactly. Just like how Warzone updates for each new COD. Except they eliminated the entrance fee and changed it into a micro-transaction storefront, where instead of earning premium skins, you have to pay for them individually and pay for season passes as well. They saw the money in Fortnite’s and Call of Duty’s ways and copied that strategy. Sadly, it will be successful for them. Even though we all hate it, most people will give in to it anyways. But not this guy. No thanks.
Imagine paying money for a game and putting hundreds or thousands of hours into it and then they erase that game from existence. Way to go Activizzard.
