As long as you retain your receipt, I think its automatic from the day you bought it. Check with the retailer though.

If its refurbished, its wayyyyyyy more likely to get RROD. I mean, I guess its this trade off: - Save money = Have console which is more likely to fail, which could in turn cost you more money - Spend more money = Have console which is much, much less likely to crash, and although there's still a risk, it would be minimal. Also make sure the refurbished model you're looking at comes with the Jasper chipset - Much less likely to RROD. It'll have the Jasper if it was released after January 2009, I believe.

I prefer single player, although I like multiplayer too. These days its all "MMO" this and "lemon party" that. Not like the good old days.

Yeah, there is no actual purpose to have them. It's just bragging rights, like the last guy said. People just whine about old games not having them because they need something to whine about.Mr_Popo74
You could say the exact same thing about any game ever made. They serve to add some replay value and incentives to play games.

MW2. I don't "hate it" but I refuse to believe the game takes any skill when people teleport through bullets and snipe you with shotguns.

Same here. I also hate COD4.

[QUOTE="JoelEnRegalia"]Hey guys, quick question: Is DMC4 worth buying? It looks pretty sweet, although I've never played any of the other games in the series. I'm tossing up buying DMC4, Saint's Row 2, RE5 and Condemned 2: Bloodshot. Any/all feedback/assistance is welcomed :D -JoelBobzfamily

Wait to get Bayonetta instead of DMC4.

I've got the demo which is great, although I'm not sure if I want to have to put up with all the loading screens the PS3 version is supposed to have.

Hey everyone :) I'm looking at getting one of these 4 games for PS3 soon: Devil May Cry 4, Saint's Row 2, Resident Evil 5 or Condemned 2: Bloodshot, although I'm having massive trouble choosing. I really can't choose one or the other. For games, I'll mostly play anything, although I'll generally go for shooters or RPG's. Any/all help or recommendations are welcomed! -Joel :D

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN THE LASER YOURSELF. Is it still under warranty? If you try to clean the laser yourself, you'll void your warranty, and Sony will refuse to help you thereafter. What you should do is give Sony a call and an email, and tell them exactly what happened with your PS3. Also, here's a little trick: if you live in Australia, the store you bought your PS3 from legally has to take it back now its broken. If you can't get it fixed by Sony, call the store and say "The goods you sold me have broken down, and as such, were legally NOT of merchantable quality at the time of sale". They legally have to take it back if it was a hardware error. Good luck, and that must suck for you :( -Joel
