Alien Ware are famous for being good gaming laptops, but honestly I don't know why. They are expensive and the hardware configuration is even worse than of other laptops. As far as I know Toshiba and Dell are good, but expensive because of the brand. Medion are selling gaming laptops with good hardware on relative cheap prices, but I have now information about their quality.

I am using acer for 6 years already and I really can recommend it to anyone else. This is my second one now. The first one did last for 5 years without any kind of problems. Yes, at the end it was out of date, but since I was playing only WoW, it was ok :).

It is really difficult to say, which laptop can run all new games and is cheap. I think all new ones can do it, the question is on what graphic settings. So my suggestion is to look for a few online shops and just compare the prices and the hardware configurations. Make your own research and find what is best for you, this is the best way, I think.

I can only give you some advises. The most important thing for a gaming laptop is the cooling system. The problem is that the sellers never give information in the description about it. So if you can, ask for details. For example for Toshiba there is an integrated program, which can set the coolers to never turn off, acer doesn't have one. Also you should get an additional external cooler. There are many on e-bay for low prices. Look for Intel not AMD. Some years ago I read that AMD is better for gaming than Intel (I don't know if this is still so), but as far as it gets to laptops, this is not the case. If you want to cut corners on the price, you can do it from the screen size. I think 15,6'' are fine, but this is only my opinion.

But in my opinion if you want a gaming machine, you should get a pc. With laptop you will always have the problem that you can't upgrade it and eventually it will get out of date. Well, you can insert more RAM, but that's all. Also even if you get one, which can run all new games on ultra graphic quality, is not what you want, because this will cut the life's laptop in half because of overheating.

I hope this was helpful.

Every program that uses internet has a specific port through which it connects to the internet. And every router has its own firewall which blocks all ports if they are not as an exception marked. So I think that your router is simply blocking your wii and you only need to make an exceptions for its port in the router configuration. How this is made is according to the router you have and it should be described in your router 's manual.

First of all if you want to play fps games you'll need a good video card. At the point, where you want to put a good video card into a laptop you are already out of the category cheap laptop.

Than as you know games such L4D and CoD need a lot of performance and a lot of performance means a lot of heat for the processor and for the video card. And if you want to keep your computer for a long time you should get the whole thing good cooled. This, in my opinion, is the laptop 's biggest problem: cooling system. A laptop processor generate the same heat as the same processor into a desktop but due to the little place you can't use the same cooling system on a laptop as on a desktop. That means that laptop 's processors often overheat, which means that they get faster older. So if you are planning gaming on laptop you should definitely buy an external ventilator.

Furthermore with a laptop you'll have the problem that you can't upgrade it. If you buy yourself now a relative cheap laptop you won't be able to play the newest games in an year or two.

I myself bought a laptop 3 years ago with the same idea, to use it for gaming and after 2 years of playing WoW I am now not able to run any of the the best games of the past year. So my advise is that you should buy a normal desktop if you are really planning to use it only for gaming.

And still if you want to take a laptop you should keep in mind that some laptops are more expensive than others only because of the name of their trademark. For instance you could find an acer as same as the dell in your link for 50-80 Pounds cheaper.
