okay , so i got the HDMI with the elite and i dont know what to do about a new tv

my options are 28" flat screen standard definition .

or around a 26" HD but its contrast is like 800:1 so i heard its bad , im kinda leanin towards the 28" but i have the hdmi which is reli annoying.
