I've been reading that the 360 version has two discs. Does anyone know if the PS3 version also has two discs or are they able to put it all on one disc?

Thanks

I want to put two GTX460 cards into SLI in my system. I only have two 6 pin plugs remaining on my 750w PSU. Each card will need two 6 pin plugs each. Is there a cable that I can convert each 6 pin into a two 6 pin plug? One for each card.

Would something like this work?

HOpe that makes sense.

Thanks

Ok. I'm looking into the 460 sli. I haven't done SLI for many years because I had awful experience when it first came out with most games not working well with it but I can see the 560 wouldn't make much sense.

Thanks

I only have a 750 PSU and I'm not in the budget to upgrade that as well. Would you think two of the Palit GTX 460? I think they take up two slots and Im' not even sure two would fit.

I have the Nvidia Nforce 790i Ultra SLI MB...but I'm probably not looking to do SLI.

I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade my video card or stick with what I have. I currently have the Palit GeForce GTX460 1GB Sonic Platinum Overclock edition. I'm considering upgrading to the Gigabyte GTX 560ti 1 GB Super Overclock card.

My system is: ALienware: Intel Core 2 Extreme CPU 9770 @ 3.20 GHZ Quad core with 4 GB of RAM running Windows 7. PSU = 750

Will I see a decent increase. The price isn't out of my budge to increase but I don't want to bother if it's not going to be worth it.

THanks in advance...I hate making hardware decisions.

I would also suggest just resetting your RAM. Just shut down...open your system...take the RAM out and re-insert it. Let the OS find it again....sometimes Windows just needs a slap in the face to wake up. Worth a try.

I use 1680X1050 and the only reason I went a little smaller at the time...I'm afraid as the system ages (like 6 mos from now) games will be harder and harder to run on a resolution that is too high. If you're prepared for upgrading quicker than go with the highest resolution you can get. I would say you definitely want to go with Widescreen though.

Hi all...I'm just doing a clean install of Windows 7 on my year old Vista machine. My question is...besides doing the OS and the video and sound drivers...is there any other drivers I HAVE to be concerned about installing? I have a Nvidia Nforce 790I SLI Ultra MOtherboard. I've been told that Windows 7 most likely has pretty good drivers for anything else I could use on this system but I wanted to see what the steps were for most people after they install Windows 7 (in regards to drivers).

I don't see a reason. If you have a machine that runs vista well, then I don't see a huge reason to switch. Maybe when I do a whole new build but for now I'm good.SinfulPotato
I agree...Vista has turned into a very stable OS. It had some growing pains but its grown up now. W7 will have its own growing pains and I don't honestly see a reason to endure those if you've gone through Vistas.
