This might look odd, or I may be wrong. But the PS3 screens look, to me, closer to PC ones than the XBOX 360's.

It says it's an over-heating problem and that the PS3 will shutdown and work normally once cooled down. Never encountered one or any other with my PS3. I have it for a year now and it's working perfectly. However I heard that it's pretty serious if the power was cut from a PS3 in the middle of a firmware update process (Something that happens once or twice per year here in Egypt without a pirior notice)
