So I have had Red Dead since it first came out and only recently I am getting problems. The machine is not overheating, it has not been on for very long and I have a fan pointed at it. It freezes all the time, but not actually freezing, just gets stuck. Okay so today I was online and at the end of a gang match it was loading a new match but the loading screen just kept loading and never loaded, so I would quit the game but when I do that, it beeps three times and shuts off and then when I turn it back on it doesnt know that RDR is in the disc drive so I have to take it out and turn it off and then turn it on and put it in, and so I keep trying to play and it gets stuck at various loading screens, like one time it started, then got stuck, so I ejected it and the blue eject light blinked FOREVER, and even after it took a very long time to eject it was still blinking and the screen is black even though the green light says it is on, the TV says NO INPUT and then it restarts and I try again and I turn off the internet connection and just click single player and then it just sits at the main screen but not frozen because I could see the little environment was still animated and HOLY crap I am so annoyed I am ready to throw the system out the window.
Wow I thought Sony would have made them better quality. I mean so many webcams have HD now and the damn system has a HDMI output right on the back, how could this never cross their minds?! Thanks though
So I have a Playstation eye that I got for Christmas in 2007. If anyone has one of these, they will know the quality is grainy and kind of looks like a youtube video. I want a Move with Sports champions and if I don't buy the bundle because I already have the Eye, then I will save ten bucks. I am wondering this: Do the Playstation Eyes released in 2010 have better quality?? AND Will a PS3 Eye from 2007 even work with the move? Cheers
Yeah I guess that would make sense, since I held it down after the first beep it probably keeps getting rushed to shut down. I'll try that next time, thanks
So lately I have been playing Fallout 3, and I know it's a buggy game and freezes ALL the time.. So when it does freeze, I eject the disc, ( I have also tried leaving it in ) and then I hold the power button for as long as possible, but it doesn't do a hard shut down or a safe one, it just beeps, then like 5 seconds later beeps again and turns off and then every time I turn it on again it says YOU DIDN'T SAFELY SHUT DOWN NEXT TIME HOLD THE POWER BUTTON FOR TWO SECONDS SO YOU DON'T CORUPT YOUR SAVES OR DAMAGE THE CONSOLE Which is frusterating because I like the game, and when ever this happens I worry that I am damging my PS3. Any ideas? Can any one relate to this?
