Yep, I can definantely call myself a modest gamer, but maybe not a hardcore gamer. I have noticed all of the games that have been comming out, and some look good but I frankly say that they are ****. Better graphics, more interactivity, and more vehicles/guns I don't complain about, however the"new" future warfare does not appeal. People say we have beat the **** out of World War II. I say "**** you". Gamers have beaten the **** out of the Normandy invasion. Did you forget about North Africa? What about the Sicily campaign and the invasion of Italy. What even about being Germans invading Greece, Yugoslavia, and Poland. There is even Burma in the pacific, Singapore, and what about the P-40's in China. Lots of men died during these campaigns too, alot of people like to forget about these though. Its all about France, yeah well I do admit that has gotten boring, but there is plenty of stuff out there even for WWII...

These would make great flight simulators, especially if compiled into one awsome game like IL-2 Sturmovik 1946. Heck, even a tank game would be awsome, as long it was simulated. I mean really in depth too. Damage, pilot/commander deaths, destructable enviroments, almost like a "Source Physics".

Another thing that game companies have TOTALLY forgotten about,which shows how ignorant people are is the Korean War. This may not be so revolutionary as far as a FPS, but a flight simulator would be a brand new thing. I guess it is why they call it the "Forgotten War". Hell, flight simulators barely even touched Vietnam warfare. What did you guys just give up? What the hell. Lets also not forget about the First World War. I hear they are comming out with FPS, and I am excited to see how it goes. A modern historical flight simulation for WWI would be awsome. Sure they are slow, and not powerful, but that gives it interest. It doesnt have to be fast and powerful to be cool.

Also there is the Isreali wars, such as the Six day war, and the Yum Kappur war. I can only think of two flight simulators who touched up on that...

This modern stuff is bull****, there is plenty of stuff the game companies have forgotten about. But don't act like future warfare like "Ghost recon advanced warfighter" that is the only thing that left for game ideas...
