Yeah it won't let me link that. But it was basicaly down to upgrading to the IntelĀ® CoreTM 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz 8MB Cache 1066MHz FSB and bringing the price to 1750 or sticking with the IntelĀ® CoreTM 2 Duo E8400 2.66GHz 6MB Cache 1333MHz FSB and upgrading to 4GB ram and the GeForce 8800GT 512MB card @ a price of 1699.

I am a pretty casual gamer, not a hardcore PC gamer, but I still want a gaming system so that I can take advantage of some of the awesome PC games, namely Crysis, that are out. I haven't the slightest bit of knowledge on how to build one so I was researching an Alienware pc. This one to be exact. Now, my issue is upgrading the processor. I was thinking of just going with the quad core, then eventually building the system up with more memory, better vid card ect. later after paying off the system and getting more funds. But my question is do I need the quad core? I don't really do anything other than burn dvd's and listen to music on my computer. And play video games. Should I just go with the dual core processor? 400 dollar decision. Because I can just stack more memory and a better card on for that extra price if I don't need the quad core. Any suggestions would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks guys.
