Prince of Persia

I started gaming on my pc when I got my 8600GTgraphics card. I loved everything about games, the sounds, the visuals and the overall feel of doing something out of this world with a control in your hand. I became addicted, and nothing fed my addiction more than Prince of Persia Warrior Within.

The game was amazing! Out of this world! Itpulled me in like everdid before. It wasn't the graphics orsounds or even the amazing acrobatics the game possessed that pulled me in, it was the story and the way in which it was told. It was beautiful and so powerful thatI never feltpushed to finish the game just for hell of it, but becauseI wanted to know the Prince's fate. I wanted to Know why he was being pursued by shadows and why he was falling for a woman named Kaileena. Throughout the story I felt his pain and anguish and felt truly satisfied when he had found peace in the end.

After completing the gameI went and bought both sands of time and two thrones and was just as blown away by those two creations. I waited foryears after completing two thrones for the next PoP game.

Then Ubisoft made the mistake of releasing 2008's Prince of Persia.

I was so excited I could hardly contain myself. I checked the previews and developer diaries just to get glimpses of it. When I saw the new art style I thought nothing of it and considereditas something new.

I finally got the game that December. I put the game into my xbox and eagerly anticipated the start. My hands started sweating. I was that nervous! The game looked absolutely beautiful... and then ewverything changed when I started the game...

What the hell is this? I shouted. The game looked like one big painting, I had to fight one evil thing at a time and I couldn't even die!!! It wasn'tPrince of Persia it was crap on a dvd. He wasn't even a freaken Prince!!! I finished the game in under twelve hours and actually got an achievement for it. What development studio aims at making a game that can easily be completed in under 12 hours!!!

That day Ubisoft killed my dream of continueing the Prince'smagical quest. They thoughtlessly replaced it with a piece of garbage that had no love or passion putinto it. Now I've heard that theres a new Prince pf Persia coming out that will coincide with the release of the movie. They can say what they want but all it will be is a cheap movie tie in that will boast action packed moments that werealready seen on the big screen...

THANKS ALOT UBISOFT FOR CRUSHING MYDREAMS!!!!

P.S. Looking forward to Splinter Cell Conviction, Its gonna be sick!!!
