one of the reasons i originally purchased a PS3 was for the anticipated 'ultimate racing sim' but have been fairly dissapointed in the fact that the full game GT5 (not prologue) wont be coming to us until late 2009 if that! now how is it that turn 5 (forza dev) are able to create a whole new forza game while the polyphony digital (GT dev) are still creating the full version of gran turismo and it may even come out after forza 3?

imo there are currently no other good racing sims on ps3 other than prologue (+ the update) and thats not even a full game, whereas xbox has forza 2 and are now getting a sequel to this, is anyone else a bit dissapointed that we still dont have the 'ultimate racing sim'?

yeah im ussually fairly good with my save files, but this was one of those occassions where i went on a fairly long stint, and it just so happens my good armour goes missing, now ive only got the option of either trawling through another 3 hrs of stuff ive already completed, or......killing all of reily's rangers and taking their armour (while turning them into enemies)....i think im going to have go with the latter.

i have really enjoyed my time in the wasteland so far but had an annoying bug earlier, even though they apparently patched it-

it happened when i got to that bit where you enter the simulation g.e.c.k thing, i do all the stuff in there, make some kid cry, divorce a couple, initiate a full scale chinese assualt, and rescue me pap....as you do. And then, when i exit the simulation my bloody (ranger) armour has vanished and all i have is the stupid vault 112 jumpsuit, i was fairly annoyed to be honest as i did some quest for 2 hrs for that gear, and then its the only piece of my gear that just goes, bastard bugs! i thought they patched the game! arrgh!

anyhow my main question is whether anybody uses the partner npcs, as i can never be bothered with them, unless its compulsory. I generally find that they slow me down, ussually blow my cover (i play as a stealth character) and i find telling them to follow or stay put all the time is a pain in the arse,

what about everyone else?

i started the game off a saint but have slowly become more of a badass as i go through, mainly for the fun factor, i think it all started when i took the evil route on the replicated man quest, you get a sweet perk for it though! now im pure evil baby!

Part of it was bad timing, but I'm guessing Americans just weren't interested.
I'm sure it did well in Japan and possibly Europe.
Still sad though.aflakian

one thing that makes me think there is some truth in the iphone theory, is that one of the few bits of product placement i noticed when playing through mgs4, was the fact that otocon uses a mac (haha, as if he could be such a hacking pro with a mac), initially i thought that was just a finger up at microsoft, but maybe theres more to it than that...

ps. i use a mac for design work so im a macboy myself!

what games are you referring too?

personally ive found quite a few Battlefield bad company servers with a fair amount of lag,

and one thing that annoys me about online play on that game is the fact you cant choose which server you go into before you play, or see your ping ingame/before so that you could choose the 'best' server wih least lag,

and that the auto assign function seems somewhat retarded at times with completeley unbalanced games,

and a class limiter could be a good thing for online battles so you dont end up with 9 out of 10 snipers,

and my final grife is that the ranking once youve reached 'general of the army' seems random at times, for instance, i will play 9 good games getting over 500 a round, then have one bad round and go down the rankings...eh?

i dont know what does everyone else think?
