Guillermo del Toro and Peter jackson are making the hobbit together?! Oh man that will be amazing. Del Toro has some of the best creature designs ever, can't wait to see that combined with Jackson's style.

And survival games have been around for much longer then horde, as well as the fact that Left 4 dead and Cod 5 were in development and already had these things planned before gears 2 "made" hoard.

hahahahaha. in ff12's review it says that kingdom hearts isn't in the same room as ff12 and that ff12 is the best rpg that year. kingdom hearts got a 9 and ff12 got a 9.5 and ff12 is 20th, while kingdom hearts is 9th.

I gotta say halo 3. I like the game a lot but it definitely doesn't deserve to be regarded as one of the best 360 games. Also GTA should not be a 10. I mean, if Fallout and Gears 1 only got in the 9s then GTA shouldn't be a 10. IMO

Never say "by today's standards" when you're talking RPGs. Imo the Final fantasies are still the best RPGs, (plus chrono trigger/cross), and they are obviously not equal in graphics to today's games but gameplay, story, and overall feel makes them 1,000s of times better IMO.
