True, it is not entirely necessary to play through HL1 to play HL2 - but, you will definitely be able to appreciate HL2 better if you play through HL1 IMO =)

I wanted to know from people if GameStop is pretty good about calling you if you've left a phone # to inform you when a game has shipped in?

I pre-ordered FIFA09 from them a couple days ago and it's the first time I've bought from them - so just looking for some feedback if you have any...

I hear ya man..

I like using my Valencia team - but when u play against these people it's just a noticeable disadvantage..

Obviously they r VERY popular teams throughout the world.. but i do understand ppl use them just bc they're easiest to use w/ all the stars on the teams and they want their ranks up and whatnot..

Not much u can do about them.. although, when u do beat those ppl w/ ur not-so-great team it is a great feeling, eh? ;)

I have Windows XP on my desktop right now, and my friend just got a laptop w/ Vista pre-installed...

I wanted to know if it was possible for me to make a backup of my XP and get rid of Vista on his laptop - replacing it w/ my backup of XP that i would get on my computer.

So, #1 is can i actually do this? (i don't have the XP install or restore CD or anything)

and #2 is how would i go about doing all this?
