Yeah, thats sounds about right for the stuff you need. Just make sure their both connected at the same time and then try the WMP11 thing you mentioned
Library->Media Sharing->Allow and then you're good. Unfourtunately, it only recognizes the pics off my pc, which sucks.

Thanks for the help....but there's still nothing. The comp never shows that there is a device trying to access the media.
ok....i'm pretty sure it has been posted on here before, but I think I need personal help. I did everything I could do and I still cannot get either the ps3 or the pc to recognize each other. Can anyone help me with this?
Here's what I got so far:
Internet works excellent with both systems
Wired Linksys router
Windows XP
Windows Media Player 11
Is there anything else I need. Before anyone comes and say, go to library, then go to media library and all that...I did that and that's the reason i'm here.
[QUOTE="Jubei_Hikari"]Let's get this clear ppl...I'm ASKING for information...not trying to prove a point. I wanted to know was there a game being released that was under the radar not trying to turn this into a cow slaughter.JPOBSNah, you're trying to flamebait and you're doing a pretty horrible job.
Nope...it just seems like you're just trying to leech off anything i say. But it's cool...I'm getting the info i need.
Just out of curiousity, why aren't we allowed to name the exclusives before Halo 3?
Why make up rules like that? I can do the same. What good exclusives will come out for the PS3 after November? See how lame that is.

Most folks would assume that if you knew about games after a certain date that you would know the ones before too. And until the release of Halo 3...there aren't any hyped games coming out for the 360 that are exclusives. And we're getting into the summer time so there are gonna be a huge release of multi-platform sports games on the way.
I jumped ship on Nintendo when they announced Wii, because I felt like they had alienated me as a hardcore gamer. They were essentially releasing an overclocked Gamecube with a new controller that I felt was unsuitable for many of the genres that I like, and if you want a classic controller you have to pay extra (and ontop of that, what's the point of developing on a system with graphics that bad if you're going to use a normal controller?) Sony was offering exactly what I thought a next-gen system should have, and since I was already in partial cow transition having bought a PS2, I decided to join the cow side and get everything I wanted, rather than hoping that Nintendo throws me a bone at some point.Timstuff
I think a lot of us jumped ship around the release of the Gamecube
