-DarkPhoenix- "It's seriously mindblowing. The disc doesn't just produce 'a clearer picture', it provides much more detail, precision, speed and power, all in the picture. The disc also incorporates sound, which is much better than DVD, more crisp etc." There is no more speed/power in blu ray. The laser is a lower band on the spectrum and is much slower than DVD9. The only advantage here is film quality not game quality. If you look the textures on most of there games are not as crisp on PS3 as on 360. "The more storage, is much better for games. You stated earlier that you wanted MGS4 on the 360? MGS4 uses 50gb of one blu-ray disc, thats teh full disc, dual layered. DVDs use approximatley 4gb (correct me if im wrong)" DVD ROMs are able to store about 9 GB of Data. Also MGS4 has no compression technology on blu ray. I think that MGS4 can be put on 360 with about 3 disc. That's still alot, but it can be done. Blu ray is a good medium but, It was the only format to NOT be decided on by the consumer. Film industries jumped ship from HD-DVD at once. That is what caused it to die. HD-DVD was already cheaper with the same quality. I like blu ray and it will be good storage for games when the space is needed and the laser technology advances to improve load times.
