Well the waitstation 3 is losing and there is no signs of it turning. lets see Wal-mart pushing HD-DVD, Sony doing layoffs in their gaming division in Japan,Europe, and USA. Waitstation 3 is losing $200 off each console while MS and Wii are making money. 360 has double the game attach rate. Sony's biggest game Final fantasy is not exclusive now so 360 prolly getting at least one FF game. So if you want to keep waiting and hope it comes down to $300 then go ahead.Eltroz

every thing you said applies to the 360 and wii as well...they will get cheaper... and will have price drops probly before ps3 does.

I traded in my X360 and bought a PS3, and.. Wow. It's like Sony doesn't even give a damn. I've enjoyed Ridge Racer 7 and Motorstorm, but everything else, even RFOM was a disappointment. Seriously, they need to pick it up and encourage more third party support or I'm done for good..quiksilver022

Just like with the PS3, give them at least a year and developers for the PS3 will start making better games than the 360.
