No offense to the other guys working at gamespot.com (You`ll get there in time ;)), but Greg Kassavin, Jeff Gerstmann, Alex Navarro, Rich Gallup, Ryan Davis and Richardo Torres was the soul of gamespot. Now Greg and Rich are already gone and if Jeff is gone as well this is going downhill really fast.

If it turns out that he was fired by CNet for doing a somewhat brutal, but honest review of a game they were sponsored by, then they do not deserve my money at least. What about some integrity? You can say whatever you want about some of Jeffs reviews, he has some scores I wouldnt agree with either, but I would never question his integrity.

The game is good, but it is no 9,6. I think a lot of people got carried away by its amazing atmosphere and insane graphics. It got some flaws. The driving seen with those black clouds that attack you (can`t remember their name) was horrible and the core gameplay gets a bit repetetive.

GoW is a game you should try/have if you have a 360, but in my opinion Rainbow Six: Vegas is the better game of the two, it does the cover/shoot better than GoW.

I`m really looking forward to trying out Assassins Creed. But on the other side, I have to face the fact that they haven`t really released a lot material that says anything about the gameplay. However, graphics and the setting are amazing, I would really hate to see this game fail. It will need rock solid level design and controls for it to work, I hope they have accomplished that.

I don`t have The Darkness yet (stupid european release date got postponed). But I can testify to the fact that Rainbow Six: Vegas is a brilliant game. The single player story might not be great, but the gameplay is smooth and very enjoyable. R6 is a fairly challenging game, especially on the hard mode.

Get both ;)

Based on the Halo 3 beta, if that is any indication, I doubt I will like Halo 3. I did not like Halo and Halo 2 either, I think they both were "Bad level design 101" courses, and when I pair that up with generic and uninspired visual design I`m not very impressed. I was hoping Halo 3 would be better, but I guess if there were any significant change to Halo 3 we would have seen it in the beta.

Crackdown was a fun experience. You really feel like a super hero when you jump over to the adjacent building just to kick a bad guy so hard he flies off the roof. I also enjoy the cartoonish feel of it with its "theme bosses".

Many people probably bought Crackdown to play the Halo 3 beta. I for one could not care less about that beta. Halo 3 felt like an expansion pack to halo 2, a few new guns and new maps. That did not impress me much considering that I find both Halo and Halo 2 to be extremely overrated.
