I have a set of PS2 component cables and I was wondering if anybody knows if or thinks that they would work on a PS3 ?

That's one of the reasons I want a 20gb is because of the chrome trim it make it look cheap and I wanted to buy the cheaper version.
I live in Canada and I have not seen one 20gb PS3 yet and I was wondering if they still made the 20gb ?
