Nice, judge the denizens of a country and everyone who follows the same religion as them by one out-of-context report received from a single delusional "scholar" from the same country that has one of the lowest crime rates in the world. Women in Saudi Arabia are actually quite content with their life style, and although it may not seem so to a person living somewhere else in the world, being able to drive around is honestly not that big of an issue when most Saudi women have personal drivers or take a taxi instead of driving. I do not agree with the views presented in this report, and I am sure that the Saudi government will reject anything that even closely resembles the beliefs held in this alleged report. Having lived in Saudi Arabia for most of my life, I can assure you that only a minority of citizens state outlandish things such as this, and most are very content with simply getting a job, being with friends and family, getting married, and drinking Qahwa. Also, I hope at least one person changes their approach to knowledge about the Middle East after reading this comment. If you would like to actually learn more about how life is in the Middle East, I suggest reading Arab Voices by Dr. James Zogby - a truly outstanding book that presents both factual polls and the author's personal experience in the Middle East.
