Saying Goodbye to Kids' WB!

Well tomorrow officially marks a monumentous occasion (well maybe for some of us). May 24th, 2008 marks the first day of The CW 4Kids, thus officially ending 13 years of Kids' WB! Although the current schedule is not going to change, some feel that the name change alone is sad enough.

While I've already coped with the situation, I thought it'd be nice to take a look back at some of the greatest moments in Kids' WB! history. I recently found this great website and I think you should check it out. Kids' WB! Yourself is a really great site with tons of video clips and magazine ads showcasing Kids' WB! history.

So what do you think of the site? Anybody have any good memories to share reguarding Kids' WB!

Kids' WB! To Be Shut Down (Please Read- VERY Important)

According to ToonZone, Kids' WB! will be shutting down after the 2007-2008 programming year. What's even more upsetting? 4KidsTV will be taking over the current lineup. This means that most of the Kids' WB! shows will probably not air next year. (This is also true because 4KidsTV has an hour less of scheduling than Kids' WB!) Discuss the topic here:

Warner Bros. DVD Releases Info. (Includes All Your Favs... Sort of)

Once again TVShowsOnDVD has some exciting news to report. Many shows are being released on dvd, or are being highly considered. Some of my highlights included...

Coming Soon

*The only real noticable mention was "Tiny Toon Adventures" as hopefully for 2008 release

Sounds Hopeful

Cow and Chicken (being evaluated)

The Zeta Project (being evaluated)- VERY exciting!

Teen Titans Widescreen Season Sets

Duck Dodgers (being looked into)

The Jetsons- 80's version (being looked into)

Johnny Quest- 80's version (being looked into)

Dexter's Laboratory (no plans but willing to consider it)

Johnny Bravo (no plans but willing to consider it)

Sounds Doubtful

Captain Planet (no plans)

Static Shock (the single-disk Static Shock release had disappointing sales and further releases are unlikely)

~The last one I find particularly upsetting because it really was a great show. Too bad not enough people bought the dvd. Well I guess if anything, it means that we as fans should seiously buy merchandise for the shows we like.

Happy New Year!

2007! Wow, it's really here! I hope everyone enjoys the last bit of their breaks.

One thing I would like to point out though:

Disney Channel's New Year Sing Along Bowl-A-Thon was great in my opinion but I did have 1 serious issue with it. Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody won 9 out of the 10 categories (HM=5/TSL=4). This means that the only category they didn't win was the one that was "The Replacements" specific- Biggest Fleemco Flub. It's obvious that Disney wants to bank on their "best" shows but that doesn't mean that they have to win every category. Anyway, this is what I would have liked to see:

Favorite Wildcat Walk-On: Same (Zac Efron- The Suite Life)

Funniest Fever: Phil of the Future "Ill of the Future"

Rah Rah Wrong: American Dragon Jake Long "Bring it On"

Happiest Birthday Blow-out: Hannah Montana "It's a Mannequin's World"

Worst Wilderness Weekend: That's So Raven "Rae of Sunshine"

Brother Like No Other: Derek (Life With Derek) "Lies My Brother Told Me"

Biggest Fleemco Flub: Trendsetter "German Squirmin'/The Means Justify the Trend"

MVE (Most Valuable Episode): The Emperor's New School "Clash of the Families"

Just Cloning Around: American Dragon Jake Long "The Doppelganger Gang"

Worst Words of Wisdom: Same (Hannah Montana "Oops I Meddled Again!")

First Episode of 2007: Same "My Boyfriend's Jackson and There's Gonna Be Trouble"

... Well anyway, that's what I would have liked to see, more diversity.

Wii Wish You a Merry Christmas!

Christmas was great today! I got the newest system, The Nintendo Wii, plus 3 games: The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Elebits, and the included Wii Sports. I also got Avatar: The Last Airbender the Complete Book 1 Collection, Xiaolin Showdown Season 1, Ben 10 Action Figures, High School Musical Remix Edition, Superman: TAS Vol. 3 (Completing my DCAU Collection), and... I think that's it!

My first day of Editorship

Hey guys! It's me JusticeLeaguer. It's 11:10am here and I just finished watching the series premieres of "Monster Allergy", "Tom and Jerry Tales", "Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue!", and "Legion of Super Heroes" and I have to say I was impressed. Also, just finished watching "The Batman" seasn premiere and it was great. (so far Legion and Batman are winning in my book but all the other shows are still 10x better than some of the other stuff that's out there. I'm waiting a little bit for the Loonatics Unleashed season Premiere but I know that'll be good. Anyway, I just found out that I am the new editor for Dragon Hunters so yeah me(it's my first editorship). Hopefully I can get the show more popularity and have people buy the dvds. Until next time,

Peace Out,

PS- I'll be updating my blogs more frequently so yeah for anyone who likes me:D
