I think the gameboy DS is a marvelous handheld console and often I prefer to play on it than with the consoles. The games are bright and colourful with a nice mixture of traditional gameplay with the new elements offered by the stylus and double screen. However the blasted thing runs out of batteries so quickly often it must be recharged everyday and I find it extremely uncomfortable to play games only using the stylus having to set the DS down and lurch over it.

I'm having some rough times trying to get that lvl 99 Red Chocobo to spawn in ff12.

I sometimes wonder if I am missing out by playing way too many roleplaying games and overlooking other genres. At least 80% of my game time is devoted to RPGs. It is hard to help myself because there are so many good titles out there and the games themselves take so long to complete with their epic stories, endless battles, and mesmerizing sidequests. I think the main problem with playing too many RPGs is that most of them are rather slow and based on thinking rather than hand eye coordination which could result in less overall skill as a gamer.
