Ohh PS1, what i would consider the good days of gaming. As a huge RPG fan i find most of the games that i still play are the old school games like Legend of Dragoon Breath of fire Most of the Final Fantasys Legend of Mana Threads of fate Lunar 1-2 Dragon Warrior These were amazing games in my opinion, and still are. I really think that these games set a very high standard for RPG gaming on systems. Kinda feels like games these days don't try as hard with the deep story and amazing game play like these games did. (and no I'm not a fan boy! PS1 was just a huge part of my gaming child hood, and other games today just don't compare)
