E3 so far...

E3 has been kind of weak so far. Halo 4 was really cool, and Gears of War: Judgment looks interesting (even though it may feel like an expansion). EA's press conference was pretty bad in my opinion, Xbox was kind of cool for the most part, and Assassin's Creed III looks really good so far.

It's been a while...

Wow, i haven't posted in almost a year. Anyway, I have been playing a lot of Gears of War 3 lately. Also, taking Black Ops 2 to the future was a risky move by Treyarch, as they could easily ruin it. I am excited for zombies, but am worried about how they will approach the whole "future" thing. Finally, I'm dissappointed that Bioshock Infinite was delayed, but am not surprised.

The Fall is looking good!!!

Did anyone realize how many great games are coming out toward the end of the year!?!?!?!?! I have a large list of games I am looking into: Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, and Batman Arkham City. Keep in mind that I don't have a PS3, so of course I did not list any of the exclusives. Anyways, it's time to start saving up some cash!!!:D

Where did the stories go?

This has probably been said many times before, but what happened to the good old days of picking of your controller, getting yourself a coke (or a beer if that's your thing) and just playing a good, old fashioned story. Everything these days have been MULTIPLAYER and MOTION CONTROLS and 3D. I'm not against all of these, but I just enjoy a good story. I remember, and bear with me, the days of when I first played video games on the gamecube *crowd freaks out*. I know, I know...The Gamecube...the first ever only story game that I played was Super Mario Sunshine...and I LOVED IT. No multiplayer needed. Just me and the story. Nowadays they have xbox live and playstation network (I'm sorry if I got the name wrong. I don't own a PS3). Modern Warfare 2 and Halo Reach and othe games like that are talked about for their MULTIPLAYER. Well you can find me playing a great story now with games like Assassin's Creed 2 and Half Life 2. Now I have been hearing a lot about the Playstation Move and Kinect and to tell the truth, I am not sure I am that excited. Just sit me down with my controller and I will be happy forever. I have kind of gotten off topic from the whole story thing, but really I think the greatest part of a game that can shine is it's story...
