the link the guy used in the UNOFFICAL website just went to the killzone website, I clicked the News section and there was nothing there. So I don't think this is credible.

I have never bought a system for one single game. I bought my xbox for the 1st halo, I played it once and I was hooked. and i played halo 2 ever since it came out and still continue to play it. If I can get a few years out of one single game, it must be good. Or are millions of fans, and respected websites and magazines completely wrong and you're the only one who is right?  

It's call of duty...the hack and slash of shooters. Unless they change it radically I doubt I will play it. Even batlefield is better.turgore

How about setting it 50 years in the future. Battlefield went down hill big time as soon as 2142 came out.

The COD series has always been great, the one made by infinity ward, that is. They have always made their games innovative, fun and exciting, they are great at cinematics and the voice acting is top notch. This game will be awesome. Oh, the multiplayer is amazing as well.  

I find it kind of ironic how lemmings have been bashing the Sheep lately with the whole "Graphics is better than gameplay" argument. Here lately with games Like forza and Halo not living up to expectations graphically, it seems like Lemmings are getting a taste of their own medicine for bashing the sheep all along saying that 360 graphics are true next gen while claiming the wii is just a gamecube with a motion sensing controller.. My my how the tides have turned. Now that Forza and Halo arent delivering in the Graphics department its now "bu but Forza and Halo have awesome gameplay and thats all that matters" but just a few weeks ago all I heard from lemmings was "halo and Forza will ownz! Look at teh screenies 56k warning" but now they are not living up to graphical expectations, I find it funny how they are using the Graphics>>gameplay argument now

Me personally I always had a feeling Forza and Halo wouldnt be that much of a improvement over the xbox versions graphically. Thats why its so fun to own both consoles lol

Socom cant move consoles and banjo more loved than Ratchet or Jak?! LMAO dude get serious. You know how many PS3s will fly off shelves when Socom for PS3 is released?! And banjo only has what.. 1 or 2 games for the N64 while Ratchet/Jak series has sold lots of copies and is proven time and time again

Im just curious. Lets say for instance that the 360 didnt have Halo 3 and Gears, and all it had was its mediocre titles such as Lost Planet, Dead rising, Crackdown etc. Why should someone own a 360?! Basically what im saying is.. Pretend I didnt own a 360 and I wanted someone to sell me on a 360. Im a Casual gamer and not into RPGs, so Mass Effect nor bioshock would be a selling point. I like Shooters, Racers and good action packed games.. So convince me why should I own a 360.. Again lets pretend Halo and Gears didnt even exist...

The point of this thread is Phil Harrison was right when he said a few months back. He simply said he respected the Halo franchise but he also said its dangerous to build a console on only one franchise.. And he was right. I mean lets face it, Gears and Halo are the system sellers for the 360 like it or not.. While Mass effect and bioshock might be great games, they wouldnt move consoles like Gears and halo does.

Honestly Im not trying to bash the 360 even though it might sound like it. I own a 360 and enjoy it greatly BUT I will admit that if it wasnt for Gears and Halo, I wouldnt even take a second look at the 360. Sure it might have some ok games... But not anything to warrant paying $400.00 you might say "but the PS3 is $600.00 and it has no titles either" Well yes, you are true BUT in the future it will have a lot more titles actually worth the price tag as opposed to other titles that are mediocre and are worth rentals at best.
