@Enundr they never lost my love...KOTOR is still my favorite game of all time. Havent finished all of Baldurs Gate but I really like it. Loved the entire Mass Effect series, I thought the ending was dissatisfactory, but I moved on. Then the EC came out and I really liked it. I even thought SWTOR was pretty good, just not worth paying a subscription fee. Need to get around to playing Dragon Age.Thing is, as much as I'd love to see some single player DLC (eg Leviathan), I'm not gonna complain for free DLC for a decent multiplayer mode. You don't see a lot of free map packs these days, and the fact that they even acknowledged the criticism they got on the ME3 ending and made the EC shows that they actually care, which most developers wouldn't even have done.I'm tired of all the BioWare hate. They're still my favorite developer.
@samantha_sneez Javik the squadmate is on disc, the mission/planet is not, nor are the cutscenes/dialogue. Still though $10 was extortion for it, should have been only 5. Being Day 1 didn't help either
@mechmaster525 I feel the extended cut fixed all the main problems for me, and actually added emotion to the end (which the original ending lacked). Had the EC shipped on disc I don't think there would have been the huge controversy. And yes I'm aware of the "problems" of Mass Effect 3, eg the horrible Journal, lamer squadmates, often only 2 dialogue choices, the large amounts of auto dialogue, and how the rachni choice in ME1 or the collector base in ME2 hardly matter. However, these were all dust in the wind for me compared to how amazing the rest of the game is. Refined combat, extraordinary plot/storytelling/voice acting, and all the different ways many choices from the whole series can play out make this game easily GOTY so far for me.
