Impressive Revolution!

Forget the Xbox 360's custom face plates. Generation "remix" has been owned by Generation NES! Hahaha I thought the Kriby one was cool, but the front view of this Revolution just makes me want to blow the dust off my NES and wish and wish until it turned into a Revolution.

Manliest Moment Ever!

Alright, I know this sounds ridiculous but I truly think that that Photoshop pic of a Revolution is the coolest thing I've ever seen that had something to do with the color pink.

Now for those of you reading this, that disagree with me well feel free to comment. All I'm saying is just the overall design is something pretty cool, don't get me wrong I'd still get a gun metal black revolution to play around the guys!

E3 Expectations

Hooray for my new font color! Only a few days left till E3, and I'm as excited as a hyped up dog at a wooden leg factory. I'm waiting on impressions of Xbox360, desire information concerning my beloved PS3, but I mostly anticipate the Nintendo Revolution (N5?). Thats right boys and girls, the Revolution is my most anticipated announcement of E3 mainly because it will provide me with new styles of gameplay to break me away from the lackluster titles that plague the Playstation 2 (how many different ways can you sell a platformer or GTA?).

I'm mostly interested to see how much Nintendo will support the DS hooking up to the Revolution, I'm interested in seeing how the two will function together in an overall game experience (ie Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles). But if they do show off the Nintendo Revolutions gamestyle types, I'll be more than willing to dish out cash for a Nintendo DS.

Which brings me to my next big debate that E3 will settle, if Nintendo Announces the next Game Boy, I won't get a PSP. If Nintendo doesn't announce the next Game Boy, I might actually get both at some point. But its all dependent on the company that makes games, and makes them very well I might add. I can't tell you how many times I've stood in front of Gamestop, and stared at their offers for Gamecube and you get two games free and all that jazz. I'm disappointed by both the DS and PSP so far, if its not a port it sucks, thats the rule of thumb for both systems so far, with the exception of Lumines and Yoshi Touch & Go.

Sweet sweet Xbox 360, how can you win my heart? By offering good games for one, I don't want to hear any hints, rumors or private showings of Halo 3. In my honest opinion Halo 1 and 2 sucked, multiplayer isn't that deep if you only have one friend over, or you don't have Live (where are the freakin bots?!?) even Goldeneye for DS is going to have bots. I want to see games that have intriguing online components that make me say "Dang I want to get a flippin 360 so I can play..." So I don't want hype, Sony will have enough for you both, and EA likes to blow its own horn. I want qualtiy online experiences and functionality.

Which brings me to my favorite place, my happy place, Sony. Ah, yes Sony, show me something! Anything at all, don't give me another Ratchet (too late) I'm more interested in this Shadow of the Colossus game. Give me an absolute reason why I shoudl get a PSP, web browser, an Online contact service (similar to Live, and what Nintendo is going to do). You guys want me to stay with you and get the PSP and PS3, well tell me why. Don't leave me here to speculate in the message boards at Gamespot, I wan't proof, give me an example of PSP to PS3 connectivity. I want to call plays on my PSP while playing Madden, I want replays on my PSP during Madden, give me something to make me say wow! So I won't have to give Nintendo or Microsoft the time of day.

In conclusion to my rant, Sony is swimming in the deep end, and Nintendo is so close to winning me over. While Microsoft could be a contender to sit beneath my HDTV this x-mas. And yes I will only have one Console, I'm not spoiled! I have a feeling Nintendo is going to have that "wow" factor I'm looking for this E3, fanboys can say what they want and bash Nintendo all they want, but they're doing what they've been doing for years, and thats create fun games, and new ways to play them. Microsoft looks to have a solid system on their hands, and Sony has a potential god, but they have to show me first, I don't want to see the system just tell me what it will do that makes it so special. I'm out!

DS or PSP

Shall I or shant I, I'm not certain what to do anymore. My best bet is to wait for May, and wait for huge announcments during E3. $250 for something I don't need, and games I don't want...or $150 for a game thats not as "trendy" but sure a heck of a lot of fun to play. And yes I think the nintendo DS is innovative, it has more innovation than just adding movies, music and pictures to it! haha oh boy...May, have to wait for May...couldn't come sooner!
