I made this reply on a topic asking why we spent so much time on System Wars arguing, when there is really no point in it. I thought I gave a really good answer, but the thread was locked before any replies came in. So I decided to make a blog of it, and just post the link when the next one will ask, so here it is: "These types of idiotic arguments is not only limited to gaming. Imagine sports-fans who supports different teams, they can argue all year long of why their team is so much better then the other teams, and it has no consequence whatsoever. They just argue because they like the sport and are passionate of their team and side of playing it. Same with us, we all love gaming and this is just a fun way of arguing about our "team" its not to be taken seriously, just relax and enjoy the experience, laugh at people who self-own themselves, try to fight back with facts and pieces of information found on the internet. And most important of all, Never take this board seriously, most of us is nowhere near as stupid as this board makes it seem. Oh and to use another sports-analogy: We are currently between seasons, the new season will begin when all three consoles are released and we can start arguing with more facts and experience again. Right now its mostly commentating how the three teams will build up theyr team before the season starts ;) " So for everyone taking their first peek at System Wars and beeing shocked at the hostilety of it, remember this is just us having fun. None of us takes it seriously, and from time to time there are really good gems hidden in the various topics that you will never see in another board ;)
