@wookiegr: I was always under the impression GS was an Xbox-biased site but maybe that's changed since the PS4 took the number one spot. I'm sure if MS released sales numbers like this, they'd report on it tho. I've NEVER felt a Sony bias around here.
@mattcake:It's a first person exploration-based game like Gone Home or Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. It's got a well-written story, but don't expect any combat or side missions. I haven't played it yet but I plan on it when it goes on sale. Looks interesting.
@Suaron_x: Half the value (in my opinion of course) of that game is the social link side-stories. Climbing Tartarus is cool and all but if the social sim elements were removed, I probably wouldn't even have played it. If you're thinking it some perverted dating sim that exists for the tease, you'd be sorely mistaken. That's what I thought when it originally came out. Also, if you decide to skip the social links, expect the game to be much, much harder and you won't be able to create any of the best personas. They are an integral part of the game.
SIDE NOTE: you will still be able to purchase PSP games on the PC store and download them to your PSP, or you can download them and play them on a Vita (the better method).
@moonbeam2: well considering how closed-minded, bigoted and religiously-motivated most conservatives are, I don't mind one bit. Books and movies undergo the same scrutiny, why not games?
@7tizz: There are multiple difficulties, if that was your issue. The story alone is reason enough to go back and give it another shot. I highly doubt you'll take the same path you took last time so it may feel a bit fresh, though it doesn't seem like you remember much of it anyways. This game's plot is incredibly varied and branching.
@Prats1993: Why? The game is brilliant! Not even Telltale game reach this game's levels of branching paths. My buddy played this back in the day and he screwed up so bad, he "beat" the game and didn't even find out who the killer was. The story is gripping, the characters are well-written, and the amount of variability is truly impressive. Sure, a plot hole pops up from time to time but i can only imagine how hard it is to program for all those possibilities.
